Dog Field Hall Lane Upminster

Landowners

Got Land in Essex? Or a Dog Field Going Nowhere?

We want to talk to you.

We're Foxes Farm Fields. We built this market in Essex from a single fenced field in 2019. Today we run more private dog walking fields across the county than anyone else. Thousands of dog owners book with us every month. And we're not done growing.

If you've got land in Essex or you're running a dog field anywhere in the UK that isn't hitting what you hoped for, we can help. Two ways. Both simple.

Wash Road Dog Walking Field Basildon

Option 1. You keep the land. We pay you for it. Essex only.

This is the simple one.

You own or farm land in Essex. You don't need to do anything with it beyond keeping it maintained. We come in, we fence it, we brand it, we fill it. Every booking, every customer, every social media post, every phone call. All of it ours to deal with. None of it yours.

You receive a guaranteed annual income of between £2,000 and £3,000 per acre per year. Paid monthly. Whether the field is busy or quiet, the payment doesn't change. That's the point.

No customers. No admin. No headaches. Just a cheque.

What we're looking for: Land between 1 and 6 acres anywhere in Essex. Grass is ideal, arable works too. You need road access and reasonable proximity to a town or village. That's it. We handle the planning application. We handle the fencing. We handle everything that turns a field into a Foxes Farm Fields location.

If that sounds straightforward, it is.

Already Running a Dog Field in Essex? This Might Interest You Too.

You set it up. You fenced it. You built the booking page and answered the messages and posted on Instagram and dealt with the no-shows. And now you're wondering if the return is worth the effort.

We get it. We've been there. The field is the easy bit. It's everything around it that eats your time.

Here's what we can offer existing Essex operators. We take the whole thing over. We rebrand it under Foxes Farm Fields, migrate the bookings, take over every customer conversation, and run it as one of our own locations. You receive a fixed annual rent for your field and land. Same deal as above — guaranteed monthly income, no customers, no admin, no social media, no calls on a Sunday morning.

We've already done this. We acquired The Paw Patch in 2025 and the transition was straightforward. The customers got a better experience. The operator got out from under a mountain of admin and started earning passively.

If your field is performing well and you love running it, brilliant. Keep going. But if something about this sounds like a conversation worth having, get in touch. No pitch. No pressure. Just an honest chat between operators.

Option 2. You run the field. We run the business. Anywhere in the UK.

This one's for landowners and operators outside Essex, or for people who want to stay involved on the ground but hand over everything else.

Here's the honest truth about running a dog walking field. The field part is fine. It's everything else that gets you. The bookings that come in at midnight. The messages asking if dogs can share the field. The person who wants a refund because it rained. The Google review you don't know how to respond to. The Instagram posts you keep meaning to do. The website you built that nobody can find.

You didn't sign up to run a small media and customer service business on top of maintaining land. But that's what this becomes without the right infrastructure behind it.

We've built that infrastructure. The booking system. The marketing engine. The customer communications. The social media. The SEO. The app. All of it. It took us years and a lot of trial and error to get it right.

What we offer is access to all of it. You keep your field. You handle the ground; the mowing, the maintenance, the poo bins. We handle the rest. Every booking taken, confirmed, managed and chased. Every customer question answered. Every review requested and responded to. Every marketing campaign run. All under your field's name, powered by our systems, backed by our experience.

You keep the majority of every booking. We take a management fee for running everything else. No upfront costs beyond the setup. No guesswork on your part.

Whether you've already got a dog walking field and the admin is winning, or you're a landowner thinking about starting one and want to do it properly from day one without spending three years figuring it out; this is the shortcut.

What you need to bring: A suitable parcel of land, ideally already fenced or with fencing planned. Road access. Somewhere within reasonable distance of a decent local population. Some willingness to maintain the field to the standard we'd agree together. That's genuinely it.

What we bring: Everything else.

Why Work With Us and Not Someone Else?

Because we built this from nothing. Not from a business school case study. Not from copying someone else's model. We invented the private hire dog walking field market in Essex. We know what makes a field fill up and what makes it sit empty. We know which locations work and which don't. We know what dog owners want because we are dog owners who couldn't find what we needed and decided to build it ourselves.

We're not a corporate chain with a head office and a board of directors. We're Guy and Emily. Farmers. Parents. Dog owners. We answer our own messages. We know every one of our locations personally. And we care about the standard of every field that carries our name because our name is on it.

If you've got land, or a field, or even just a question — get in touch. We'll tell you honestly whether it works or it doesn't.

FAQ

A few questions we get asked a lot:

Do I need planning permission? For Option 1, we handle the full planning application. You don't need to have done anything before you speak to us.

What if my land isn't fenced yet? For Option 1 in Essex, we install the fencing as part of the setup. For Option 2 anywhere in the UK, we'll advise you on specification and can recommend contractors, but the fencing cost sits with you.

How quickly could this be up and running? From agreeing terms to first booking, typically eight to twelve weeks for a new site. Faster for an existing site that's already operational.

What does the rental agreement look like? A straightforward tenancy or licence agreement for an agreed term, with clear obligations on both sides. We'd always recommend you take independent legal advice before signing anything.

Can I visit one of your existing sites first? Yes. We'd actively encourage it. Come and see what a Foxes Farm Fields location looks like in practice before you make any decision.
